Is Marvellous Parties a registered company?
We are a registered company you’ll find us on companies house.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, we have public liability insurance.
What measures have been taken to avoid the spread of COVID-19?
Our staff have completed COVID-19 Awareness Course. All equipment from bedding, lanterns and toys are disinfected and laundered before and after your booking.
What other measures have been taken to ensure that the Marvellous Parties Team are suitable to be in your home?
Our staff are DBS checked and referenced.
What health and safety measures are taken?
We completed risk assessments before (on our equipment) and during the set up.
What area do you cover?
Generally, we cover the Kent area however anything over 10 miles from ME20 will incur a delivery charge.
What is the recommended age for Teepee use?
Our recommended age for our Teepees are 5 years+. Our blow-up beds are 185x 76 x 22cm. Children are to be supervised at all times.
Delivery and collection
We will require parking and garden access for Igloo and Bell Tent bookings. We will only set up on a ground floor level for teepee and children’s tent bookings.
Sleepover tents and teepees
Each teepee measures at W 150cm x D 115cm x H 160cm. A frame tents measurement is W 111cm x H 110cm. We will require sufficient space for the teepees, A-frames and their accessories.
For any Igloo bookings we require 4.5mspace as the Igloo is 3.72m diameter x 3.2m base diameter x 2.5m height. We also require access to a plug of no more than 15m away from the igloo. The igloo can be set up on grass or a patio area.
Our Bell Tents are 5m and 4m. For the 5m we require 7m space and for the 4m we require 6m space. Bell tents can only be set up on a grassed area.
Please note you are responsible for checking the sizes prior to booking. We do not offer refunds on any equipment hire if the space is insufficient. Times for the set upand collection will be arranged with customers 24 –48 hours prior to hire. Set up times can range from 08:00 –13:00 depending on how many parties are booked. The area should be clean and clear on arrival. Collection the following morning will usually be between 10:00 –15:00.
We will inflate balloons and designs a little earlier than your collection time so we can find any faults and defects. Our balloons will always leave us in perfect condition. Once the balloons leave our care we will not be held responsible for damages. Helium and air balloons are not toys and are for decoration purposes only. Keep young children and babies away from balloons. They could cause suffocation if placed over face.
Am I responsible for taking down my hire equipment?
No, the Marvellous team will dismantle the equipment when they come to collect it. (Unless stated by Marvellous Parties in writing.)

There is a minimum spend on our prop hire of £150, which does not include mileage.

What will be required to secure my booking?
A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking, the amount will depend on the type and quantity of equipment being hired which will be confirmed via our contract of hire.
If you have paid but need to change a date, we will be happy to do re-arrange, for another available date. We do not offer refunds if numbers change or for any cancellations as the equipment has been held for your party. We require full payment 14 days before your event or immediately if your event is within 14 days. We accept bank transfer only.
